Tara Griner (Accompanist)

 

Tara is the accompanist during ballet classes each week. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from the University of Akron. She is also currently employed as a ballet accompanist at The Atlanta Ballet, The Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education, and the Roswell Dance Theater. 

 

Tara has played for teachers such as Armando Luna, Orlando Molina, Rosemary Miles, and Sharon Story at The Atlanta Ballet and Alexandre Proia, Janusc Mazon, and Gina Hyatt-Mazon at The Georgia Ballet. Other work includes playing for outside teachers for auditions, summer intensives, and master classes. She was the accompanist at Grace Community Church in Marietta for 16 years. Tara has accompanied vocalists and other instrumentalists in master classes and for full recitals at the college level. Throughout the years, she has also taught private piano and theory lessons.
