Anya Hart has been selected as one of eight 2015-2016 ABT National Training Scholars. The goal of the National Training Program is to encourage young dancers to continue their dance training and complete their academic education in their home communities. More info...
Gwendolyn Henry placed in the Top 12 Senior Classical Ballet category at the 2016 Youth American Grand Prix. AABD dancers scored very well in Classical, Contemporary and Ensembles.

TJ Thomson was awarded a full scholarship to Sarasota Ballet and Katherine Kuckhoff was awarded a half Scholarship to Sarasota Cuban Ballet at the 2016 Universal Ballet Competition.

Gracie Jean Joiner was awarded a Full Summer Scholarship to The Louisville Ballet during the 2016 ADC/IBC Youth International Ballet Competition. AABD dancers scored high marks in this intense competition.
