Pre-Professional Ballet Academy


Admission to the Pre-Professional Ballet Academy is by audition only. Dancers must be entering 6th grade or higher in order to audition for the program. The Ballet Academy is designed for the dancer seeking a professional ballet dance career and/or admission to a college dance program. Auditions are generally held during the Spring of each year.
The Pre-Professional Ballet Academy accepts no more than 45 dancers in our three divisions. Ballet Academy students have a daily 2-hour Ballet class with additional 1-hour rotating training to include: Pas De Deux, Repertoire, Contemporary, Contemporary Ballet, Modern, Variations, Pointe, Pilates, Progressive Ballet Technique, and Conditioning and Stretch. Ballet Academy students train Monday-Friday beginning at 2:15pm. Additional classes in Ballet, Pointe, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Conditioning, and Tap may be added. Tuition is based on the number of hours scheduled. Men's tuition in the Ballet Academy is free of charge.
