ATLANTA ACADEMY OF BALLET AND DANCE

Atlanta Academy of Ballet and Dance is devoted to developing each dancer to their full potential. AABD is training the next generation of dancers by motivating and encouraging our students to achieve their personal best. We are intricately invested in each student’s development and success. At AABD, we mold quality dancers who deliver superior performances.
Our Mission

Facilities
AABD has approximately 11,000 square feet of space. We have 3 spacious fully-equipped studios with custom sprung marley floors, fixed and portable ballet barres, advanced sound systems, as well as large monitors for rehearsals. A pianist joins us weekly, playing our upright piano during ballet. The welcoming lobby with reception area, dressing rooms, and lounge make a comfortable spot for all. Also available for use is a full size refrigerator, single-serve coffee maker, microwave, and water fountain.
Location
Atlanta Academy of Ballet and Dance is located in the Cobb International Business Park convenient to Interstates I-575, I-75 and Cobb Parkway/41. We occupy Suites 1, 6, and 7 of Building 1610. The studio is across the intersection from Sparkles Roller Rink, directly behind Gerber Auto Collision and Glass, and diagonal from Bounce U.

Curriculum
AABD is proud to include the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. ABT’s National Training Curriculum is a program for the development and training of young students that embraces sound ballet principles and incorporates elements of the French, Italian and Russian schools of training. Artistically, the National Training Curriculum strives to provide dance students with a rich knowledge of classical ballet technique and the ability to adapt to all styles and techniques of dance.
